The new secret luxury e-commerce platform that is set to compete against other high-end online giants such as Net-A-Porter and Farfetch, has been rumoured around the fashion market.  The platform VRSNL that is pronounced “versional”, is planned and set to be selling a selection of clothing, footwear, and accessories from luxury brands such as Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, and Bottega Veneta. 

 

Amazon, is in fact the company who plans to launch it’s own digital platform for luxury fashion. Amazon, who are already known globally as the titan of e-commerce, logistics and media, operate in many different markets and industries. It has been deemed one of the most influential economic and cultural forces in the world  as well as the world's most valuable brand. The rumours are now out that Amazon are planning to expand their wings and begin competing in the luxury market by creating a luxury e-commerce platform.

VRSNL, originally has been speculated to have launched in September 2019, being operated by amazon owned Zappos. The website and app have been operated on and are up and running yet no marketing o publicity have been released for the platform yet. This is what makes it fashion’s west best kept secret.
